В пресс- релизе от 23 ноября правительство БВО объявило, что плата за регистрацию компании и лицензионный сбор будут повышены от $300 до $350 для компаний с учредительным капиталом менее $50,000 и от $1,000 до $1,100 для компаний с учредительным капиталом более $50,000. Для компании с акциями без номинальной стоимости и учредительным капиталом $50,000 или менее плата останется прежней — $350.
Тем не менее, регистраторы не поддерживают данное увелечение платежей и понимают, что эти изменения вряд ли будут приняты клиентами. Зарегистрированные агенты БВО посредством Ассоциации зарегистрированных агентов прилагают усилия, чтобы убедить правительство, что такое повышение платежей не должно внедряться или, по крайней мере, его необходимо сократить или отложить.
Хотели бы также напомнить, что с 1января 2005 года любая новая зарегистрированная компания, чей Устав и учредительный договор разрешают выпуск акций на предъявителя, теперь будут платить правительственный лицензионный сбор $1,100.
