Белиз: Государство управляет реестром компаний
11 июня 2013 года правительство Белиза взяло в управление Belize International Services Limited (BISL) компанию которая управляет реестром международных компаний — International Business Companies Registry (IBCR) и реестром торговых морских судов — International Merchant Marine Registry of Belize (IMMARBE).
До настоящего момента компания находилась в частном управлении и являлась частью Ashcroft Alliance. Премьер-министр Белиза Дин Бэрроу обьяснил, что одной из причин, почему правительство пошло на такой шаг, было требование Евросоюза установить государственный контроль над регистрацией компаний и торговых морских судов.
